5.  Insert the SIM card into the slot with its metal contacts facing down and its cut-off corner 

facing the bottom-right corner of your device. 

 

6.  Slide the SIM card fully into the slot until it is seated. 

7.  Replace the battery, contacts side first and the printed side facing down. 

 

8.  Close the battery compartment door. 

9.  Replace the battery compartment cover.
