Choose how you want to browse through your 
photos and videos (all, date, favorites).

2.

Select an album to view.

3.

Tap a photo or video to view it in full screen.

Viewing Photos and Videos in Landscape 
Orientation

The photo orientation adjusts to how you hold your 
device. Turn your device sideways to view a photo in 
landscape mode.

Video is always displayed in landscape mode when 
you play it. Use the onscreen controls to play, pause, 
or stop the video.

Zooming In or Out on a Photo

There are two ways you can zoom in or out of a photo:

Tap the screen twice quickly to zoom in, then tap 
the screen twice quickly again to zoom out.

You can also use pinch and spread to zoom in or 
out. (See “Pinch” on page 14 for details.)

Using the Pictures Hub, you can share your photos on 
Facebook and upload your photos to your Windows 
Live SkyDrive.

Sharing Photos on Facebook

You must be logged in to your Facebook account to be 
able to upload photos.

On the Start screen, tap 

Pictures

Tap 

all

.

3.

Tap the album where the photo you want to share 
is stored.

4.

Press and hold the photo you want to send, and 
then tap 

share > upload to Facebook
