Explains the System Event Logging messages for the ATLAS 550 and provides instructions for configuring
the Event Log.

The ATLAS 550 Event Log is used to log various message types at settable threshold levels. This section

Use caution when changing

ATEGORY

values from their default levels. If too many

sources have their

ATEGORY

values set too low, the number of messages being logged in a

given period can be very large. If too many messages are being logged too rapidly, system
performance can be adversely affected.
