Message sent

an indication that the 
message has been sent by 
your phone to the message 
centre number programmed 
into your phone. This is not 
an indication that the 
message has been received 
at the intended destination.

service provider.
Writing and sending text 
messages 
To send a message, the phone 
number of your message centre has 
to be saved in the phone. See 
.
1. Key in the message. The number 
of available characters and the 
current part number are shown 
on the top right of the display.
2. When the message is complete, 
press  
(
Options
), select 
Send
key in the recipient’s phone 
number, and press 
 (
OK
). 
If you want to send the message 
to several people, select 
Sending 
opts
 and 
Send to many
, scroll to 
the first recipient, and press 
 
(
Send
). Repeat this for each 
recipient and press 
 back to 
the message editor. 
To send a message to a 
predefined distribution list, select 
Sending opts
 and 
Send to list

Other options are:

Save message

selected, this message will be 
stored into the 
Drafts
 folder.
3. When a message is sent out 
successfully, a copy of this 
message is stored in the 
Sent

Reading a text message 
When you have received text 
messages in standby mode, the 
number of new messages as well as a 
 are shown on the display.
1. Press

Show
) to view the 
messages right away.
To view the messages later, press 
. Go to the 
Inbox
 menu 
when you want to read the 
messages.
