Rating Level

Sets the maturity rating level of the player. The player will not 

play any discs rated higher than this setting.

There are eight rating levels.

Level 1 (Kid Safe) will restrict playback to discs suit-

able for people of all ages.
Level 8 (Adult) will allow playback of all discs, includ-

ing those suitable for adults only.
A setting of OFF will disable the Rating Level lock.

To change the rating level:

Select “Rating Level” from the menu and press  .
Press   or   to select the desired Rating Level.
Press  . You will be prompted to enter the Parental 

Settings password. Enter the correct password to 

finish changing the Rating Level.
