About synchronization:
►
FRAME, indicates that the frame synchronization has been reached.
►
CRC, (Cyclic Redundancy Code) indicates that the CRC synchronization has
been reached. Only PRI with CRC4.
About the presence of alarm conditions:
►
LOS, (Loss Of Signal) indicates the absence of received impulses due to
interruption, short circuit, etc.
►
LFA, (Lost Frame Alignment) indicates that the device has lost the frame
synchronization because of an excessive noise over the line, signal/noise ratio
too low or high CRC errors.
►
AIS, (Alarm Indicator Signal) indicates that the network has sent an alarm
signal due to various types of errors detected at the local exchange.
►
RAI, (Remote Alarm Indicator) indicates that the remote or local terminal is in
alarm condition.
About the presence of error conditions:
►
CODE, indicates error in the transmission code HDB3.
►
LOCAL CRC, indicates that the device has receiver a faulty data verification
code from the local terminal.
►
REMOTE CRC, indicates that the device has receiver a faulty data verification
code from the remote terminal.
About the signalling activity:
►
D CHANNEL, indicates activity over D channel.
About alignment word:
►
FAS, synchronism word present into the even frames of E1flow. Are displayed
all the eight bits of the timeslot 0.
►
NFAS, synchronism word present into the uneven frames of E1flow. Are
displayed all the eight bits of the timeslot 0.
7.3.1. G.703 access

If an Unframed G.703 at 2Mb test is performed, the timeslot zero (0) of the frame E1
is no more used to synchronize the frame. The tests use all timeslots (32) in order to
receive and transmit the PRBS sequence. Moreover, it is not available the CRC4
control and the other overhead bits.
