10.3.3. Dimming the Backlight
At power-up the screen has a high bright display. To save battery power, the screen
has an economic brightness when operated on the battery pack (no power adapter
connected). When you connect the power adapter, the screen automatically changes
to maximum brightness.

It should not usually be necessary to replace the battery pack. If you do want to
replace the battery pack, refer to figure 10-2 and follow the instructions below.
