Downloads a gamma curve and a dither pattern to the scanner. You
can modify the scanned image with your gamma curve and convert
it to binary using your dither pattern.

manual for information on how to download these parameters to the
scanner.

The scanner automatically detects the size of originals placed on
the document feeder.

Note: The paper sizes the scanner can use are determined by the

setting of DIP Switch 3 on the back of the scanner. Setting
DIP Switch 3 to OFF specifies letter/double-letter, while ON
specifies A4/A3.

In the semi-automatic document feed (SADF) mode, originals that
are set on the feeder one at a time are automatically fed into the
document feeder and scanned one at a time.

Turning on DIP switch 4 turns on the IS410 Mode, which makes it
possible to use the scanner with an IS410 driver.
