not create a spark or detonate in an explosive
atmosphere. Integral sintered bronze acoustic screen
and heavy die-cast aluminum case meet the UL
standards for explosion-proof classification. Meets or
exceeds standards for use in hazardous areas classified as
Class I – Groups B, C and D, plus Class II – Groups E, F
and G. Dual 1-inch screw-on exits, 8-ohm impedance.
Driver housing is designed to contain a University Sound
5030 transformer for 20/70.7-volt distributed systems.
