This monitor is equipped with power management functions which automatically

reduce power consumption when not in use under the four power-saving modes.

Note: The monitor automatically goes to the Power Management System (PMS)

when it is idle. To release the monitor from the PMS condition,  press any key on the

keyboard or move the mouse.

To make your installation easier, the monitor is able to Plug and Play with your

system if your system also supports the DDC protocol. DDC (Display Data Channel)

is a communications protocol through which the monitor automatically informs the

host system about its capabilities; e.g.,  supported resolutions and corresponding

timing. The monitor supports DDC1 and DDC2B standards.
