Automated Attendant System/Answering system
Problem
Cause/solution
The unit does not 
record new messages.
L
The answering system is off. Turn it on (see “Turning the 
answering system on/off ” on page 57).

The caller’s message length is set to “Greeting Only”. 
Select a different setting (see “Caller’s message length” on 
page 64).
L
The message memory is full. Erase unnecessary 
messages (see “Erasing a message” on page 61).
L
If you subscribe to the Voice Mail service, messages are 
recorded by the telephone service provider not your 
telephone (see “For Voice Mail service subscribers” on 
page 64).
Memory Full”
