Set the TCP/IP Address

Your printer’s default TCP/IP address should be changed to agree with your network’s
TCP/IP addresses. Change it using the XANTÉ Utilities TCP/IP Address option
available through your browser or the Setip.ps file included on the XANTÉ CD-ROM.
Check with your System Supervisor for the correct TCP/IP address.

for details on the Setip.ps file. See “I/O Configuration (EtherTalk and Network)” in
chapter 5 for details on using the address option via your browser.

Using the Utilities via the Browser (Macintosh and PC)

1.

Turn on your printer and then the computer.

2.

Open your browser, and enter the IP address that appears on your printer’s
startup page. The Printer Home Page window for your printer appears (fig.
4.2).

Select Printer Configuration: I/O Configuration. The I/O Settings Window
appears (fig. 4.3).

Select Network. The Network Configuration window appears (fig. 4.4)
