For faster print speeds, load paper 305 mm (12 in.) or shorter for long-edge feed (LEF). Load paper longer 
than 305 mm (12 in.) for short-edge feed (SEF). 

 

 

Loading Paper in Trays 1–4 

1.  Pull out the tray until it stops. 

 

2.  If necessary, move the paper tray guides further out to load the new paper. 

To adjust the guides, pinch the guide lever on each guide and slide the guide to the new position. 
To secure the guides in position, release the levers.
