2 Using the i.Beat rock

2.2.6 A-B repeat

The i.Beat rock allows you to play a section of a title in a loop. During playback, press the

button

to set the starting point for the loop. Press the

button again at the desired end point of the loop.

The symbol ’A-B’ appears in the display, and the loops starts playing. To stop the loop, press the
button again.

2.2.7 Button lock

Slide the

switch to the left to activate the button lock. The symbol ’Button lock’ appears on

the bottom left next to the battery symbol in the display.

2.3 Main menu

The i.Beat rock has different modes: ’Music’ , ’Voice recording’ , ’Directory’ , and ’Set-
tings’ . To go to a mode, hold the

button for approximately one second. Push the

button

to the right or left to select the desired mode, and confirm by pressing the

button again.

Note:

If the button is not pressed after approximately 10 seconds, the i.Beat rock

automatically interrupts the configuration and returns to play mode.

2.3.1 Music

In the main menu, select the menu item ’Music’ , and confirm your selection by pressing the

button.

This mode is also called the MP3/WMA play mode. After turning on the i.Beat rock, it automatically
goes to this mode.
