Installing USB Driver

From the Start menu, select Settings, then Printers.
(Windows 2000)
From the Start menu, select Printers and Faxes.
(Windows XP)

Select the Samsung ML-1440 Series printer icon in the
Printers folder.

Select Properties from the File menu.

Click the Port tab. Check the port and the printer.
Click OK.

• Samsung ML-1440 Series is connected to the USB Port.
• The printer prints using the USB cable. 

3. Check your PC

Note: If your printer stop the
connecting with USB cable,
the printer driver icon is
faded. 

Notes:
• If you want to use your printer with the Parallel cable, remove the USB

cable and connect the Parallel cable. Then reinstall the printer driver.

• If your printer doesn’t work properly, reinstall the printer driver.
