conmsg
Purpose
The
conmsg
command controls the display of all or selected console messages that are
commonly used for debugging purposes.
Syntax
conmsg { consmsgID | v | q }
Arguments
This command requires the following argument(s):
Instructions:
1. Enter the following at the
A500:
prompt to turn all console messages off, then
press Return:
conmsg q
2. Enter the following at the
A500:
prompt to turn all console messages on, then
press Return:
conmsg v
3. Enter the following at the
A500:
prompt to turn specific console messages off,
then press Return:
conmsg -
msg#
4. For example, to turn off only console message 5, type
conmsg -5
. To turn off
console messages 5 and 10, then enter
conmsg -5
,
-10.
5. Enter the following at the
A500:
prompt to turn specific console messages on,
then press Return:
conmsg +msg#
6. For example, to turn on only console message 5, type
conmsg +5
. To turn on
console messages 5 and 10, then enter
conmsg +5
,

consmsgID | v | q
Specify which messages to display or suppress.
v(erbose) specifies that you want all console messages displayed.
q(uiet) specifies that you want no console messages displayed.
Enter a + and the message number to display a particular
q(uiet) specifies that you want no console messages displayed.
Enter a + and the message number to display a particular
message.
Enter a - and the message number to suppress the display of a
particular message.
