Set the virtual router priority value for the virtual Router ID. Use the no form of this 
command to restore the default value.

 

 

This example sets the priority value.

Cajun(config-if:serial0)# ip vrrp 1 priority 256

   

To Enable:

 ip vrrp <vr-id> priority <pri-value>

To Disable:

 [no] ip vrrp <vr-id> priority

vr-id

Virtual router ID.

pri-value

The priority value. The range is 1 - 254.
