To change the resolution & quality setting, perform the following: 
1.  Power on the camera. 
2. Set the Mode Dial to Record

. 

3. Press the Resolution & Quality button

  to toggle the selection. 

In Record mode

: Shows the current image resolution setting. 

In Play mode

: Shows the captured image resolution setting.
