Calendar
Calendar helps you keep track of 
appointments, reminders, all-day events, and 
anniversaries. You can use Anniversaries for 
annual reminders of important dates, such as 
birthdays or celebrations. You can also set 
reminder alarms for your various entries.
Use Calendar to invite contacts to 
appointments or all-day events. Invitations are 
sent by email. When you receive an invitation, 
you open them in Messages, from where you 
can accept and add it to Calendar or decline it.
Note: Before inviting contacts, you must set up 
your email account in your phone (see Setting 
Up Internet, Email and MMS on page 61)
.
Viewing Calendar Entries
Select 
More > Set view
 to switch between 
Month view
 and 
Week view
. Tap the right or 
left arrows above the calendar page to scroll.
To display the Day view, select a day that 
already has entries. You can display it with or 
without empty slots. Select an entry to display 
the entry information. If you select a day that 
has no registered entries, you can use the 
displayed list to create a new entry type.
To quickly switch to any calendar date, select 
More > Go to date
 (or tap the heading above 
the page).
Creating Calendar Entries
Select 
Calendar > New
, then one of the entry 
types: Appointment
, Reminder
, All-
day event
 or Anniversary
. You can 
add comments on the 
 tab.
Note: When you enter a contact’s birthday in 
Contacts, you can also create a birthday 
anniversary entry at the same time. See 
Editing a contact on page 31.
Invitations
If the entry is an appointment or all-day event, 
you can invite others to it using the 
 tab. 
Invite contacts by entering their email 
addresses.
Recipients will receive invitations, which they 
can accept or decline. If accepted, the 
Calendar application you are currently using
