To view remaining battery power, perform the following steps. 

1.

Click Start in the Windows taskbar, Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, and then click Power Options.
The Power Options Properties dialog box appears.

Click the Power Meter tab. The current power source and total battery power remaining is shown.
