The Processing option allows you to temporarily stop the Spooler from performing
its normal functions. It effectively turns off the Spooler timing loop, and as a result
no new jobs requests will be automatically created, and no processing messages
will be forwarded to the engine.

This option is useful for pausing the system to create new printer or job
definitions, or for setting up test runs of new or changed applications.
