Replicating Information (Replication Service)
The replication service duplicates group, profile, and meeting
information from the MeetingPlace database. It also replicates
any associated attachments, recordings, and voice comments
associated with meetings.
information from the MeetingPlace database. It also replicates

associated with meetings.
On a periodic basis, the replication service copies all this data and
information to the SQL Server database on the Windows server.

as your MeetingPlace Web database engine if you do not have

For user profile and group information, MeetingPlace Web copies
the data from MeetingPlace at fixed intervals that you specify.
The profile and group update interval has a default value of 20
days. For nightly updates, you may set the User Profile Update
Interval to 1 day.

incremental database updates based on any change you make to
meetings. Typically, the meeting update intervals are set to 60

The replication service copies attachments and voice files from
MeetingPlace and stores the replicated files on the Windows
server. Pointers to those files are then created in the database. The
replication service downloads voice files in their native
MeetingPlace Voice (MPV) format. Once voice files are
downloaded, the replication service queues jobs for the
conversion by the audio service. For additional information, refer
to page 98.

Converting Audio Files (Audio Service)
MeetingPlace stores voice information internally using a
proprietary format similar to those used in voice mail systems. To
