Guest Access
MeetingPlace Web can allow guests (those without MeetingPlace
profiles) to attend meetings and access meeting materials, such as
voice recordings and data attachments. To do so, the following
parameters must be set during scheduling:
The Who Can Attend Meeting parameter set to Anyone
The Who Can Access MeetingNotes parameter set to
Anyone
The Password Required parameter is set to No
The following parameters must be set in order for external users
(those outside your organization’s firewall) and sites
(MeetingPlace systems outside your network) to be able to access
meetings and meeting materials:
The Display Meeting to Everyone parameter set to Yes
Meetings scheduled with these parameters will be visible to
guests in the Public Meetings area

of MeetingPlace Web.
Note: To schedule a MeetingPlace meeting, you must have a
MeetingPlace profile. In addition, it is highly recommended that
people who frequently access MeetingPlace also have a
MeetingPlace profile.
Note: Setting the Who Can Attend Meeting and Who Can Access
MeetingNotes parameters to Invited Profile Users can restrict
meetings to users with MeetingPlace profiles. Invited guests will
not be able to attend or access these meetings.
By default, the Who Can Attend Meeting parameter is not
displayed on the scheduling form. This parameter is only
displayed in the Meeting Preferences section of a user’s profile.
