The Operations Console displays only the latest released version of the user interface. Interface
screen formats for earlier versions of a device type are not supported. For example, if a Call
Server is at version 4.0, the 7.0 version of the Call Server configuration screen displays with
any new configuration options and default values, if applicable.
If the Operation Console performs an online view for a device type of an older release version,
defaults are applied in an effort to populate the new properties that are unknown to the older
device type.
To continue to support device types at older versions, you cannot remove or modify the
attributes of an existing property using the Operations Console.
If a previous version component receives a configuration property that applies only to the
new version, it will log a trace message.
Unified CVP device type version information is available for all Unified CVP 7.0 components.
Version information for CVP device types that have not been upgraded is not available.
