Appliances 
Changes include a new Configuration Master 9.0. Existing settings in Configuration 
Master 8.5, 8.7, or 8.8 will be rolled automatically and seamlessly to the new 
configuration master. 
Configuration Masters 9.0 and 8.1 support the ability to configure access policies 
to control how range requests are applied, when publishing to AsyncOS releases for 
Cisco Web Security Appliances that support range requests.

Reporting support for on-premises File Analysis using a Cisco AMP Threat Grid 
Appliance. 
See important configuration requirements in the Advanced Malware Protection

Configuration Master 8.8 replaces Configuration Master 8.5 or 8.7. Existing 
settings in those configuration masters are rolled automatically and seamlessly to 
the new configuration master during upgrade.

In AsyncOS 9.6 for Cisco Email Security Appliances, this also includes support 
for viewing detailed file analysis results in the cloud for all files uploaded from 
any appliance on your network.
