Changes to Cisco IOS Software Product Support 
in Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4T

Cisco IOS
®
 Software Release 12.4T supports several new and recently introduced products, as well as a broad portfolio 
of hardware from Release 12.3T. Changes include the elimination of technology release images for some mature hardware 
that has reached its official End of Life, as well as hardware support provided via other releases. Support for platforms in 
Release 12.3T that are not supported in Release 12.4T will occur via Major Release 12.4. Releases 12.4, 12.1E, and 12.2S 
will continue to support the Cisco 7500 Series Router.
Table 1 lists platforms supported, as well as those that will not be carried forward in Release 12.4T.
