The Private Line Automatic Ringdown for Trading Turrets feature improves connection service for
turrets in the financial industry—primarily for corporations and enterprises that use turrets and POTS
telephones for trading. Implementation of this feature ensures that a call between traders on a private
line automatic ringdown (PLAR) connection will be maintained if one of the traders goes on-hook or
on-hold. This new capability also ensures that bandwidth is used only when needed.
