Switch. The Cisco

 

Catalyst 2350 Series Switch is a fixed-configuration server aggregation Ethernet 

switch. The Cisco Catalyst 2350 Series Switch offers basic security, quality of service (QoS), and 

resiliency. 

Table 1 shows the Cisco Catalyst 2350 Series Switch specification.

This product bulletin describes the content and delivery information about Cisco IOS Software 

Release 12.2(46)EY, which is the first Cisco IOS Software release that provides support for the 

Cisco Catalyst 2350 Series Switch. Release 12.2(46)EY is an early deployment (ED) release 

based on Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(46)SE. Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(46)EY 

should not be used for any switch other than the Cisco Catalyst 2350 Series Switch. 

The platform and features delivered with this ED release will be incorporated into Cisco IOS 

Software Release 12.2(52)SE

 

and subsequent Cisco IOS Software 12.2SE releases. It is 

important to note that there are no planned maintenance releases for this ED release. In addition, 

note the migration path to the latest 12.2SE release (Figure 1). Customers should prepare to 

upgrade using this migration path.
