announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco IOS
®
Software Major Release 12.2. This
announcement applies to all releases of Major Release 12.2, but does not apply to the 12.2S family. The last day to order the
affected product is March 19, 2006. Maintenance rebuilds and software fixes will no longer be available via Release 12.2 as of
March 19, 2007. Software defects found in this release are addressed by migrating to Cisco IOS Software Major Release 12.3,
12.4, or later. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance
Center (TAC) until March 19, 2011.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this
announcement.
