Determining the Software Version
To determine which version of the Cisco IOS software is currently running on your Cisco 1800 series
(fixed) routers, log in to the router, and enter the show version EXEC command. The following sample

platforms. The feature sets available for a specific platform depend on which Cisco IOS software images
are included in a release. Each feature set contains a specific set of Cisco IOS features.
