Cisco IOS Release 12.2(40)SE runs on all Catalyst 3750-E and Catalyst 3560-E switches.

The Catalyst 3750-E switches support stacking through Cisco StackWise Plus technology. The 
Catalyst 3560-E switches do not support switch stacking. Unless otherwise noted, the term switch refers 
to a standalone switch and to a switch stack.

These release notes include important information about Cisco IOS Release 12.2(40)SE and any 
limitations, restrictions, and caveats that apply to it. Verify that these release notes are correct for your 
switch:
