Release Notes for the
Catalyst 3750, 3560, and 2970 Switches,
Cisco IOS Release 12.2(25)SE
Revised April 2005
The Cisco IOS Release 12.2(25)SE runs on all Catalyst 3750, 3560, and 2970 switches.
The Catalyst 3750 switches support stacking through Cisco StackWise technology. The Catalyst 3560
and 2970 switches do not support switch stacking. Unless otherwise noted, the term switch refers to a
standalone switch and to a switch stack.
Note
Beginning with this release, Cluster Management Suite (CMS) is no longer available with the switch
software. You can use the embedded GUI (referred to as device manager) or the Network Assistant
standalone application (available on Cisco.com) to manage one more switches. For more information
about the device manager and the Network Assistant application, see the
.
