Memory Leaks in Logging Discriminator
First Published:

Cisco devices configured with logging discriminator may experience a memory leak or crash. When a logging
discriminator is configured and applied to a device, memory leak is observed under heavy syslog or debug output. The
rate of the leak is dependent on the number of logs being produced. In extreme cases, it is possible that the device might
crash. To avoid memory leak, disable the logging discriminator feature.
This document lists the caveats for memory leaks for logging discriminator.
Note:
The release number in Fixed Releases column may indicate a future release.
