Release Notes for Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Lightweight Access Points for Release 4.2.207.0
OL-31336-01
  Caveats
Workaround: None.
CSCsw45913—The wrong access control list (ACL) might be applied when the AAA override
option is enabled.
Workaround: Disable the AAA override option.
CSCsx48164—The controller has insufficient debugs to troubleshoot web authentication while
under a heavy load.
Workaround: None.
CSCsx94678—An 1130 or 1140 series access point might fail to reset its configuration to factory
default settings, despite undergoing Mode button recovery. This behavior occurs if the first IOS
image in the access point’s flash is the recovery image.
Workaround: Connect to the access point using the console port and enter the following commands:
If running IOS prior to 12.4(18a)JA:
debug lwapp console cli
clear lwapp private-config
write erase
If running IOS 12.4(18a)JA or later:
debug capwap console cli
clear capwap private-config
write erase
CSCsy23940—The controller might reboot because of a software failure of the osapiBsnTimer.
Workaround: None. The controller reboots and automatically returns to normal operation.
CSCsy31995—A 1000 series access point is mapping the wrong 802.11e value on downlink traffic
when WLAN mapping to any QoS profile but sending different downlink traffic from the wired
client.
Workaround: None.
CSCsz39384—A Cisco WiSM controller running software release 4.2.201.0 is unable to upload the
radio core dump file with TFTP from the GUI. The following error message appears: “Failure while
storing in flash!”
Workaround: None.
CSCsz48244—The mobility control path for controllers to the DMZ sometimes flaps up and down.
However, the data path for the same controllers does not flap.
Workaround: None.
CSCsz53434—When the DHCP address required flag is not enabled for a WLAN, wireless client
devices can sometimes forge the IP address for the VLAN if the selected IP address is not in the
ARP table.
Workaround: None.
CSCsz64049—Controllers sometimes reboot unexpectedly, and the console output suggests that
nf_iterate causes a kernel panic exception error. After rebooting, the controller operates normally
until it unexpectedly reboots again.
Workaround: None.
CSCsz87643—The controller might become unreachable while an interface is added to the
controller using WCS.
Workaround: Reboot the controller.
