Chapter 3      Setup and Installation
  Using the System Setup Wizard
Commit Changes
Finally, the System Setup Wizard will ask you to
commit
the configuration changes you have made
throughout the procedure. Answer “Yes” if you want to commit the changes.
When you have successfully completed the System Setup Wizard, the following message will appear and
you will be presented with the command prompt:
The appliance is now ready to send email.
Test the Configuration
To test the Cisco AsyncOS configuration, you can use the
mailconfig
 command immediately to send a
test email containing the system configuration data you just created with the
systemsetup
 command:
Send the configuration to a mailbox to which you have access to confirm that the system is able to send
email on your network.
Immediate Alerts
The Email Security appliance uses feature keys to enable features. The first time you create a listener in
the
systemsetup
command, enable Anti-Spam, enable Sophos or McAfee Anti-Virus, or enable
Outbreak Filters, an alert is generated and sent to the addresses you specified in
.
The alert notifies you periodically of the time remaining on the key. For example:
Congratulations! System setup is complete. For advanced configuration, please refer to
the User Guide.
