Important Notes
Client MFP Incorrectly Enabled for WPA Sessions
If a client that supports MFP attempts to associate to a WLAN that is configured for both WPA and
WPA2, authentication fails if WPA is negotiated for the session. This behavior is a controller issue that
is tracked in CSCsm39923.

To address this issue from the client side, two registry entries have been added to software build 4.2.0.269.

The first registry entry is called ccx5FeatureEnable. To configure this entry, perform the following steps:

Right click Properties on the device icon in Network Connection dialog box of the control panel.

Click Configure, and select the Advanced tab.

Choose the policy setting from the drop-down list in the Value column.
