New Features and Functionality
IEEE 802.3ad link aggregation
CTM R9.0 supports IEEE 802.3ad link aggregation, which allows one or more
links to be aggregated into a single link aggregation group. Link aggregation
provides link protection, increased bandwidth, increased availability, and load
balancing across multiple links. The standard also defines the Link
Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), which is used to configure and control
the link aggregation sublayer. LACP provides the ability to continuously
monitor the configuration and take appropriate reconfiguration actions.

CTM reports how many calls per second are running in the system. At the
VXSM card level, the Resource Control tab contains a Gateway Resource
Utilization category. When you select this category, all of the supported
resources are selected in the configuration table. The Real-Time Statistics
table displays the following statistics:
