Back Up the appdb Database
In this section you will unload the appdb. This is done in the unlikely event you
have to roll back to the previous versions of the SARA software.

Important: This procedure will be performed on the DNCS server. Commands in
this procedure must be run as root user.
1 Type cd /dvs/backups and press Enter. This is now the working directory.
2 Type mkdir APPDB and press Enter to create a new directory for the appdb.
3 Type cd APPDB and press Enter. This is now the working directory.
4 Type dncsDbData -u -d appdb and press Enter. You are asked to verify your

directory where the database will be unloaded.

7 Press Enter to unload the database to the current directory. You are prompted to
confirm the directory path.

8 Type Y and press Enter. The database unload begins.
