If you are running a firewall on your network between the Internet and the Cisco IronPort appliance, it
may be necessary to open specific ports for the Cisco IronPort appliance to work properly. For more
information on firewalls, see

Always use the same IP address on the Security Management appliance for receiving and sending email
messages to the Email Security appliances. For an explanation, see information about Mail Flow in the
documentation for Cisco IronPort AsyncOS for Email Security.
