LCI Device Tree Overview
Introduction
The main window of the LCI software contains a tree that represents your system in
a hierarchical manner.
Device Tree
In the graphic above, the device tree represents a PC connected to a chassis that
contains five modules. The three tree levels are described in the following table.
Device Tree Level
Description
Local (System 0)
PC being used
Chass00 (Chassis)
Chassis the computer is connected to
Sxx (Device name)
Module(s) located within the chassis. Each device is of the
format chassis slot location (device name).
Example: In the graphic above, S10 (Receiver) represents
