Scanning

Creating a new scan job 

To create a job which scans for viruses and malware automatically: 
f  Click on Profiles in the AntiVir Server Console. 

f  Click the Insert new job

  The Name and description of the job dialog box is displayed. 

f  Name the job and describe it, if necessary. 
f  Click Next. 

  The Type of job dialog box is displayed. 

f  Select the Scan job. 
f  Click Next. 

  The Time of the job dialog box is displayed. 

f  Select the time at which the scan is to be performed:  

– 

Immediately 

– 

Daily 

– 

Weekly 

– 

Interval 

– 

Single 

f  Enter the date, if appropriate, for your selection. 
f  Click Next. 

  The Selection of the profile dialog box is displayed. 

f  Select the profile to be scanned. 
f  Click Finish. 

  The job is started immediately. 

– OR – 
  The job is inserted in the scheduler and is carried out in a certain interval.

    View properties of a job 

    Modify job 

    Delete job
