Wireless 300N PCI Card
300 Mbps Wireless 802.11n, MIMO
Part No.:
523981
Get the most from your wireless network for your desktop PC.
The Wireless 300N PCI Card is a compact high-speed adapter that allows you to connect your desktop
computer to wireless networks at faster speeds than ever before. Now you can transfer or receive digital
images, videos and MP3 files faster than ever, connecting to the wireless network with link speeds of up to
300 Mbps using the latest in Wireless technology. This adapter is also compatible with 802.11b and 802.11g
wireless access points and wireless routers, giving you the flexibility to start upgrading your wireless network
without the need to replace your existing equipment.
Increased Throughput
The Wireless 300N PCI Card supports up to 300 Mbps network link speed*, providing you with optimum throughput for your data networking applications.
Whether you are downloading music, images or large text files, the Wireless 300N PCI Card, with its WMM-enhanced (IEEE 802.11e QoS standard)
multi-media support, will optimize the performance of your wireless network, allowing you to spend your time more productively.
Wireless Network Security
The Wireless 300N PCI Card provides advanced security encryption and decryption using industry standard techniques such as 64/128-bit WEP, WPA
(TKIP with IEEE 802.1x) and WPA2 (AES with IEEE 802.1X), ensuring that your data is secure as it is sent through the wireless network.
Increased Throughput
The Wireless 300N PCI Card features MIMO technology which increases the wireless transmission distance dramatically. This card is based on Wireless N
2T3R MIMO technology, which uses two antennas for transmitting and three antennas for receiving data.
Compatible with 802.11b and 802.11g
The Wireless 300N PCI Card is fully downwards compatible with the IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g standards and can be used to connect to existing 802.11b/g
routers and wireless access points. When an 802.11n enabled wireless network is in range, you can benefit from the increased throughput and range, which
the Wireless N standard provides.
* Actual data throughput will vary. Network conditions and environmental factors — including volume of network traffic, building materials and construction,
and network overhead — lower the actual data throughput rate.
** Environmental factors may adversely affect wireless signal range.
