This section provides information on using the following software
to manage the dynadock™ and adjust settings to suit your needs:
The background utility
Wireless USB Manager
TOSHIBA dynadock Utility
USB Multi-Channel Audio Device utility
TOSHIBA Video Dock utility
You can also refer to this section to learn how to uninstall the
software.
The background utility
After the TOSHIBA dynadock Utility is installed and the computer
is restarted, a program named TOSDockApp.exe will run
automatically in the background. This program will be listed in the
Windows
®
Task Manager. This program detects the connection and
removal of the dynadock™ from the computer.
The background utility does not impact any other programs running
on your computer. Do not turn off the utility as it is required for
proper operation of the dynadock™.
Using the Wireless USB Manager
The Wireless USB Manager is the driver software for the Toshiba
Certified Wireless USB adaptor (included with certain models).
This driver is automatically installed when you run the dynadock
Installation CD (see
 for more
information).
The Toshiba Certified Wireless USB adaptor contains a radio
transmitter/receiver that enables your computer to communicate
wirelessly with the dynadock™. This radio is known as the host
radio. The Wireless USB Manager driver software enables you to
manage the host radio and perform tasks such as the following:
Associate the dynadock™ with your computer
Connect/Disconnect the dynadock™ from your computer
Change/Select the channel used for radio communication
Disable/Enable radio communications
Disable/Enable pop-up messages
