S-VHS Playback

Load a cassette recorded in S-VHS.
The “ ” indicator will light on the
VCR display.
Power is turned on.
If the cassette has no safety tab,
playback starts automatically.

Rewinding / Fast-forwarding
Press
REW or FF in the stop mode.
Note
Tapes recorded in S-VHS mode can not be played back successfully on
normal VHS VCRs.

VCR equipped with SQPB (S-VHS QUASI PLAYBACK) function. However,
there may be cases where S-VHS ET playback is not possible on a particular
VCR.
