4. If the AC adapter is connected, disconnect it.

5. Turn the computer so that the left side is facing you.

6. Slide the battery to the left as far as it will go. (You’ll feel it

ease away from the case.)

7. Grasp the edge of the battery and pull it straight out of the

computer.
