Rotate the end

increase the speed of 
the wipers and rotate 
down to decrease 
the speed of the 
®wipers. Briefly press 
the end of the stalk 
for a single swipe of 
the wipers without 
washer fluid. A quick 
push and hold results 
in three swipes with 
washer fluid while 
a longer push and 
hold activates the 
wash pattern for up 
to five seconds. A 
‘courtesy wipe’ will 
automatically occur 
after the washing 
cycle to ensure that 
any drips have been 
cleared from your 
windshield. Your 
wipers are speed 
dependent and  
will automatically 
adjust depending  
on vehicle speed.
Your vehicle may be 
equipped with rain 
sensing wipers which 
will automatically 
activate when 
moisture is sensed 
on the windshield. 
To operate your rear 
window wiper, turn 
the rear wiper control 
to 1 (intermittent 
speed), 2 (normal 
speed), or off. For a 
rear wash cycle, turn 
the rear wiper control 
to the 
 
position. 
To turn on the 
highbeams, push the 
lever away from you. 
Pull the lever toward 
you to deactivate. Pull 
the lever towards you 
slightly and release to 
activate the ‘flash to 
pass’ feature.

If you fold in a mirror 
manually, the power 
fold mirrors will need 
to be reset. To reset, 
move the 4-way

for approximately 8 
seconds. You should 
hear a click indicating 
the mirrors have  
been reset.

Entry systEm (if equipped) 
The keyless entry keypad 
allows you to lock or unlock all 
doors and the liftgate without 
using a key. Simply enter your 
five digit program code and the 
press 3•4 within five seconds 
to unlock all doors and the 
liftgate. Press 5•6 to open the 
liftglass. To lock all doors and 
the liftgate, press 7•8 and 9•0 
at the same time. note: You do 
not have to enter your five digit 
code first.
rEvErsE sEnsing  
(if equipped) 
Your vehicle may 
be equipped with a reverse 
sensing system which may 
warn you if there is an object 
behind the vehicle that may 
be too low for you to see. The 
system will sound a warning 
tone that increases in frequency 
as the object gets closer and 
will sound continuously when 
the object is less than 10 
inches away. The system is not 
effective when the vehicle is 
traveling above 3 mph (5 km/h) 
and may not detect angular  
or moving objects. note: 
Reverse sensing is only an aid 
for detecting certain types of 
objects and does not replace 
the need to watch where the 
vehicle is moving. Refer to 
your Owner’s Guide for safety 
information, more detail  
and limitations. 
rEar viEw camEra

Your vehicle may 
be equipped with a rear view 
camera system located on the 
liftgate which provides a visual 
display of the area behind 
the vehicle. The display will 
automatically appear on the 
navigation system screen (if 
equipped) or in the rear view 
mirror whenever the vehicle is 
in Reverse (R) and uses colors 
(green, yellow and red) to alert 
you of your proximity to objects.

transmitter. Handle the IKT

any of the remote entry buttons.

adhesive security labels in a 
safe place for future reference.

on your portable music player
