Press   DOWN/UP   on the unit or
UP  /DOWN   on the remote
controller to enter the speaker
identification number.
Find the speaker identification number in
the tables on the previous page.
Notes
• If no speaker is connected, select “0.”
(There is no “0” setting for the front left and
right speakers since they must be connected.)
• If any speaker other than the speakers listed
in the table is connected, select “9.”
Press CH SEL to select the next
field.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you finish the
subwoofer field.
Smart Configuration is complete when the
subwoofer field is set.
Press SPEAKER SETUP.
“SmartConfig” appears in the display, then
“SP- 
 
 
 
” appears shortly after.
Note
If any display appears other than “SmartConfig,”
press the button repeatedly until “SmartConfig”
appears.
Each “
” is the field to enter the speaker
identification number.
The flashing field is currently selected.

• If a speaker field is set to “9,” adjust its volume balance manually.
