Assign an IP address to the KN-304.  You may use DHCP.
Initiate access to the desired KN-304 by using the Web utility.
Select “TCP/IP Setup” from the main menu.
The NetBIOS name for the KN-304 is shown on the screen.  The NetBIOS name is the KN-
304’s serial number (for example, KON_993011).
You can enter a new name to change the current NetBIOS name.  It should be a string of up to
15 1-byte characters.
If the DHCP server is set up so that the address of the primary WINS server be supplied to the
KN-304, the address is shown in the TCP/IP Setup menu.  If it is not shown, enter the IP
address of the primary WINS server.  You can also enter the IP address of the secondary
WINS server if you like.  If the DHCP server is set up so that the address of the secondary
WINS server be supplied to the KN-304, the address is automatically filled.
Restart the printer (KN-304).
The printer’s status page should now show that the KN-304’s name has been successfully
registered in the WINS server.
