SPECIAL ATTENTION:
IMPORTANT: During the first few minutes of use, you may notice
smoke and a slight odor, as well as a humming noise. This is normal
and will quickly disappear.
WARNING: This multiple temperature, curling iron has been specially
designed for very coarse, thick, hard-to-curl hair. Due to this special
application, the barrel will be very hot in the HIGH (21-30) settings.
Be very careful when using it.  
• Keep unit away from contact with all skin areas. 
• Do not touch iron barrel with fingertips. 
• For shorter hair, place a thin plastic comb between scalp and iron

barrel to avoid touching the scalp.

• Place fingers of free hand on the safety tip when more control is

needed.  

• Test a small section of hair to determine the correct heat setting for

your type of hair.

SPECIAL FEATURE: 
The solid-state circuitry in this iron has a sensor that detects
temperature loss and boosts the power to bring the heat level back to
optimum styling temperature. This allows you to style the hair in half
the time it takes with ordinary curling irons.

USING YOUR CURLING IRON:
For a complete styling, hair should be clean and dry. Start by
sectioning the hair into strands of no more than 1/2-inch deep and 
2 inches wide.

PRE-HEATING:
1. Rest the iron on its safety stand on a flat, smooth surface and plug

in an electrical outlet.

2. Press the on switch.
3. Set the temperature control to the desired setting and let the iron

heat up.

4. For fast heat up, turn temperature control to HIGH (21-30) settings.

It will take 60-90 seconds to reach optimum styling temperature. 
Note: Once the iron reaches the optimum styling temperature,
change it to the appropriate setting for your hair type.

This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user
serviceable parts. 
CLEANING:
1. Unplug curling iron and let it cool. Clean the Iron only when is

cold.

2. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the handle. 
3. Do not allow water or any other liquid to go into the Handle.
STORAGE: 
• Unplug appliance and let it cool.
• Store in a clean, dry place.
• Never wrap the cord around the unit; this could cause the cord to

wear prematurely and break. 

• Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the handle, as 

it could cause the cord to fray and possibly break. 

• Never hang unit by the power cord.

ADVERTENCIA: Esta tenaza se puede ajustar a varias temperaturas y
ha sido diseñada específicamente para rizar el cabello grueso,
abundante, difícil de ondular.  Debido a esta función particular, la barra
de la tenaza se calienta excesivamente cuando la temperatura se
ajusta a la posición alta (HIGH) entre (21 y 30) y es por eso que se
recomienda tener mucho cuidado. 
• Evite que la tenaza entre en contacto con la piel.
• No toque la barra de la tenaza con los dedos.
• Para el cabello más corto, coloque un peine de plástico entre el

cuero cabelludo y la barra de la tenaza a fin de evitar quemaduras.

• Para mejor control del rizado, sujete la punta de la tenaza con  los

dedos de la otra mano.

• Ensaye con una pequeña sección de cabello para determinar la

temperatura apropiada para su cabello.

CARACTERISTICA PARTICULAR: 
El circuito de estado sólido de esta tenaza tiene un sensor que detecta 
la pérdida de temperatura y eleva rápidamente la energía para
regresar la temperatura al nivel óptimo apropiado para estilizar el
cabello. Esto permite estilizar el cabello en la mitad de tiempo que
toma hacerlo con las tenazas de rizar ordinarias. 

COMO USAR LA TENAZA DE RIZAR:
Para un mejor acabado, asegúrese que el cabello esté limpio y seco.
Separe el cabello en secciones de 1/2 pulgada de profundidad 
y 2 pulgadas de ancho. 

COMO PRECALENTAR LA TENAZA:
1. Coloque la tenaza sobre el soporte de descanso, en una superficie

plana y enchúfela a una toma de corriente.

2. Encienda el interruptor.
3. Ajuste el control de temperatura al nivel deseado y espere que la

tenaza se caliente.

4. Para calentar la tenaza más rápido, ajuste el control a la

temperatura alta (HIGH), entre 21 y 30.  La tenaza alcanza la
temperatura óptima en espacio de 60 a 90 segundos.

Nota: Cuando la tenaza haya alcanzado la temperatura máxima,
cambie el nivel de temperatura a la apropiada para su tipo de
cabello.

Este producto requiere poco mantenimiento y no contiene piezas
reemplazables por el consumidor.
LIMPIEZA:
1. Desconecte la tenaza y espere que se enfríe. La tenaza se deberá

limpiar solamente estando fría.

2. Utilice un paño suave, ligeramente humedecido para limpiar el

mango de la tenaza.

3. No permita que penetre agua ni ningún otro líquido adentro del

mango de la tenaza.

ALMACENAMIENTO: 
• Desconecte la tenaza y espere a que se enfríe.
• Almacene este aparato en un lugar limpio y seco. 
• A fin de evitar que el cable se debilite y se rompa, nunca lo enrolle

en torno a la tenaza.

• No aplique ningún tipo de presión a la unión del cable con el

mango de la tenaza; esto podría debilitar el cable y romperlo.  

• Nunca cuelgue la tenaza por el cable.
