Use this tab to make settings that control sorting, stapling, punching and 
folding.

Use these settings to control output when you print 
more than one copy of the same document.

Off

Sorting and grouping are turned off, so all copies are 
output together. In the case of five copies, for example, 
the document would be printed as: five copies of page 
1, followed by five copies of page 2, five copies of page 
3, etc.

Sort

Sorting is turned on, the entire document is printed and 
sorted into separate complete sets. In the case of five 
copies, for example, the document would be printed 
from beginning to end five times.

Group

Each page is copied and grouped into separate stacks, 
each stack having the same number of pages.

Use these settings to specify where you plan to staple 
the pages of a document together.

Short 2pt

Stapling at two points along the short edge of the page.
This option is not available when the “Duplex Print” item 
of the “Page Layout” tab is set to “Long Edge Binding”.

Long 2pt

Stapling at two points along the long edge of the page.
This option is not available when the “Duplex Print” item 
of the “Page Layout” tab is set to “Short Edge Binding”.

Center 2pt
